1. Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how Marchak Family Office (the “office”, “we” or “us”) handles personal information in connection with this public website and enquiries sent through it. It covers website visitors and people who contact the office, rather than every aspect of the family’s private affairs. Privacy questions may be sent to marchak.office@gmail.com or raised by calling +1 (805) 354-8940.
2. Information we receive
When you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, subject and message you provide. We also receive information you choose to send by email or provide during telephone correspondence, including business contact details and the context of your enquiry. Hosting, security, form and email providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, timestamps, requested pages, delivery records and security events. Please provide only information relevant to your enquiry.
3. How information is used
We use information to receive, evaluate and respond to correspondence; manage relevant professional relationships; operate and protect the website; prevent spam, abuse and fraud; and address applicable legal obligations or disputes. The contact form does not subscribe you to a newsletter. We do not use its submissions for advertising audiences or sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Website and communication providers
The contact form sends the information you enter to FormSubmit, which processes the submission and forwards it by email to the office’s Gmail inbox. Google processes email content and related delivery information as part of that service. Website hosting and delivery infrastructure, including Cloudflare, may process technical request information. Submission may involve a third-party security or CAPTCHA step. These providers have their own terms and privacy practices. See FormSubmit’s privacy terms, Google’s Privacy Policy and Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
5. Other disclosures
Information may be shared with people responsible for handling an enquiry and with professional advisers or service providers where needed for that purpose. It may also be disclosed where required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect legal rights and the security of the office and others. Information is not made public merely because it is submitted through the form.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
The current site code does not include advertising pixels, audience analytics, visitor accounts or an optional cookie-based tracking system. Hosting, security or third-party form services may use necessary cookies or similar technologies under their own policies, especially when you leave this website to submit a form or complete a security check. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking them may affect third-party form or security functions. This website does not use tracking to personalize advertising.
7. Retention
Enquiries and related correspondence are retained for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage an ongoing relationship, meet applicable obligations or address disputes. The appropriate period depends on the nature of the information and the correspondence. Providers may retain technical records, delivery data or backups under their own retention arrangements. You may contact us to request deletion, subject to applicable requirements and legitimate retention needs.
8. International processing
Because the website and communication services use third-party infrastructure, information may be processed in the United States and other countries where providers operate. Privacy rules may differ between locations. Where applicable law requires a particular transfer safeguard or legal basis, handling must follow that requirement; use of this website does not waive your statutory rights.
9. Your choices and requests
You may choose not to use the form and contact the office by telephone or email instead. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Send requests to marchak.office@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify identity and locate records. Requests will be handled subject to applicable law and any relevant exceptions. Where applicable, you may also raise a concern with the relevant privacy regulator.
10. Security and sensitive information
No internet transmission, email service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please do not use the public contact form to send passwords, bank credentials, payment-card information, government identity documents or confidential investment materials. If sensitive information is necessary, contact the office first to agree an appropriate method.
11. Children and external websites
This website is intended for adult professional correspondence and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted information. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; their operators are responsible for their own content and privacy practices.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when website functions or information-handling practices change. The date below identifies the latest version. For questions about this policy or the handling of an enquiry, email marchak.office@gmail.com or call +1 (805) 354-8940.
